1. Who we are
Help Me AI is a trading name of Stageline Events Pty Limited, ABN 23 614 895 644. One person does the work: Damian Negus. There is no team, no offshore office and no call centre.
Questions about anything on this page: help@helpmeai.com.au or 0410 481 185.
2. What we collect
- When you enquire: your name, phone number, email, business type and whatever you tell us about the job.
- When you buy: your name, email and phone. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
- When you send us work: whatever is in the file you upload. That's usually the sensitive part — staff hours, pay rates, customer names, job values.
We don't run analytics or advertising cookies on this website, and we don't load anything from third-party font or script services. Our hosting provider may set a basic security cookie to keep the site up and block bots — it doesn't identify you and it doesn't follow you anywhere. Visiting this site doesn't put you on any advertising list.
3. Who else touches your information
We're one person using ordinary business software. These are the services involved, and what each one sees:
| Service | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Your payment. They hold the card details; we don't. |
| Zoho | Our email — so anything you send or we reply to. |
| Zoho WorkDrive | The private link you upload your files through. |
| OpenAI (ChatGPT) | One of the two AI tools used to build and repair the work. See section 4. |
| Anthropic (Claude) | The other. Same rules, same checks. See section 4. |
| Formspree | The enquiry form on our website. |
| Netlify and Cloudflare | Hosting the website itself. They don't see your files. |
Some of these services store information outside Australia, including in the United States. That's normal for business software, but you should know it before you send us anything.
We don't sell your information, share it for marketing, or give it to anyone else — ever. If we're ever legally required to hand something over, we'll tell you unless we're forbidden from doing so.
4. How AI is used, honestly
We use AI tools to work faster. That means parts of your file may be processed by an AI service to build or repair what you've asked for. A person — Damian — reviews every formula, figure and document before anything is sent back to you.
We use two: ChatGPT, made by OpenAI, and Claude, made by Anthropic. Which one gets used depends on the job. If we ever add a third, this page is updated before it touches a customer's work.
Two things we do to keep that safe:
- Both accounts are paid accounts with model training switched off, so your content isn't used to improve anyone's AI. We check that setting on each of them rather than assume it, and we check it again whenever either company changes its terms.
- Where a job doesn't need real names or personal details, we remove or replace them before processing and put them back at the end.
If you'd rather your file wasn't processed by an AI tool at all, say so when you book. We'll either do the job by hand or tell you honestly that we can't at that price.
5. How long we keep things
- Your files: deleted from our active systems within 30 days of the job finishing — both the copy you sent and the one we sent back. Copies sitting in routine backups are overwritten in the normal cycle after that; we don't go looking at them, and they aren't used for anything.
- Enquiries that don't become jobs: kept up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Emails about a job you paid for: kept for 5 years alongside the invoice, so we can both look back if a question comes up later.
- Invoices and payment records: kept for 5 years, because Australian tax law requires it. These contain your name and what you paid — not the contents of your files.
Want your file gone sooner? Ask, and we'll delete it and confirm when it's done.
6. Keeping it safe
- Files travel through private links, not email attachments.
- Accounts holding your information have two-step verification switched on.
- Finished work is returned on a link that expires.
No system is perfect, and we won't pretend otherwise. If something ever goes wrong with your information, we'll tell you — promptly and in plain language — and tell you what we're doing about it.
Please don't send us tax file numbers or superannuation member numbers. Timesheet and payroll exports often contain them. Delete that column before you upload — we don't need it to do the job, and tax file numbers carry rules of their own on top of ordinary privacy law. If you're not sure how, ring and we'll talk you through it.
We will never ask for your passwords, banking logins or full card numbers. If you ever receive a message claiming to be from us asking for those, it isn't us. Ring the number at the top of this page.
7. Other people's information in your files
Your timesheet has your staff in it. Your job tracker has your customers. We treat that information exactly as carefully as we treat yours, and we only use it to do the job you asked for.
You remain responsible for having the right to share it with us in the first place.
8. Marketing
We only send marketing to people who have ticked the box asking for it. Buying a job doesn't sign you up to anything — if you didn't tick it, the only emails you'll get from us are about your own work.
If you did tick it, every message says plainly that it's from Help Me AI (a trading name of Stageline Events Pty Limited), carries our contact details, and has a working unsubscribe link. Replying "stop" works just as well. We act on it straight away.
We don't buy mailing lists, we don't sell yours, and we won't hand your details to anyone else to market to you.
9. What you can ask for
- A copy of what we hold about you.
- Correction of anything that's wrong.
- Deletion of your files, at any time.
- An answer to "what did you actually do with my spreadsheet?" — you'll get a straight one.
Email help@helpmeai.com.au. We aim to reply within two business days.
10. If you're not happy
Tell us first — call Damian on 0410 481 185. Most things are a misunderstanding and are fixed in one conversation.
If we can't sort it out, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this page as the business changes. The version here when you sent us your file is the one that applies to it.
