Terms of service

The deal, in plain English.

Last updated 27 July 2026

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This is a working version assembled from what's already promised on the site. Have it checked before you rely on it, particularly the liability and refund sections.

1. Who you're dealing with

Help Me AI is a trading name of Stageline Events Pty Limited, ABN 23 614 895 644, an Australian company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person or business buying a job.

Contact: help@helpmeai.com.au or 0410 481 185.

2. What we do

We complete specific, fixed-price business admin jobs — spreadsheets, trackers, templates, presentations and reports — and send you back a finished file.

We use AI tools to work faster — currently ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic), both on accounts with model training switched off. A person reviews every formula, figure and document before it is sent to you. You are not required to use, learn or subscribe to any AI tool yourself. Our privacy page sets out exactly what they see.

3. Prices, GST and payment

  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • The price shown on the price list is the price you pay. We do not add fees afterwards.
  • Payment is made up front through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Work begins once payment has cleared and you have sent us the files or information the job needs.

4. What each fixed price covers

Each job has a defined scope. Anything outside it is a separate job, quoted before any extra work starts. We will never do additional work and invoice you for it afterwards.

If what you send turns out to be outside the scope you paid for, we'll tell you within four business hours of opening it — with a price for the extra work, or a full refund. Your choice, and nothing extra happens until you've said yes.

Fix my spreadsheet $99 · back within 24 hours

One Excel or Google Sheets workbook, up to five worksheets. Formula repairs, totals, formatting and basic clean-up included. Macros, external integrations and bookkeeping reconciliation are quoted separately before work starts.

Job & quote tracker $290 · back in 3 days

One Excel or Google Sheets tracker configured for one business, with up to 250 existing jobs imported from a tidy file. Includes status, value, amount owing and basic summary totals.

Timesheet & roster setup $450 · back in 5 days

A spreadsheet-based setup for one business and up to 15 staff, using pay rates and rules you supply. It helps calculate hours and job costs; it is not payroll, tax or industrial-relations advice.

Document & template pack $390 · back in 5 days

Up to five editable Word or Google Docs templates using your supplied wording and logo. Legal drafting, HR policies and regulatory compliance advice are not included.

Presentation or proposal $350 · back in 3 days

One presentation of up to 12 slides, built from content you supply, with one correction round. Research, complex diagrams, animation and tender writing are separate jobs.

Monthly reporting pack $180 per month · first pack in 7 days

One monthly summary from one consistent spreadsheet export, covering agreed figures and up to 50 active jobs. Data clean-up, bookkeeping and accounting advice are not included.

5. Turnaround times

The turnaround shown for each job is counted in business days — Monday to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays — starting from when we have both your payment and everything we need from you, not from when you paid.

If we can't meet the stated turnaround, we will tell you before the deadline passes and you may choose to wait or take a full refund.

6. What we need from you

  • The files, figures, wording or rates the job depends on, in a usable form.
  • Accurate information. We build what you give us; we can't verify that your underlying figures, pay rates or business details are correct.
  • Answers to any questions we need to ask to finish the job.

If we don't hear back from you for 30 days after we've asked a question, we may close the job and put it aside. Your money isn't lost — contact us any time and we'll reopen it, finish the work, or refund you.

7. If it isn't right

If the result doesn't meet the written job description above, we correct it. If we still can't deliver what was promised, we refund you in full.

Tell us as soon as you spot it — ideally within 14 days, while the job is fresh and quick to put right. That's a request so we can fix things fast, not a deadline: it does not limit any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. See section 14.

Corrections cover the job as described — they are not unlimited redesigns or changes of mind about what you wanted.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. We process them within two business days; your bank usually takes a further 5–10 business days to display the credit.

8. What we don't do

We are not accountants, bookkeepers, lawyers, payroll providers or licensed advisers of any kind. Nothing we produce is professional advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for it.

Specifically, we do not provide:

  • Payroll, tax, superannuation or industrial-relations advice
  • Legal drafting, HR policy or regulatory compliance advice
  • Bookkeeping, reconciliation or accounting advice
  • Financial or investment advice

A tool we build may help you calculate something — checking that the result is correct, lawful and right for your circumstances remains your responsibility, and we recommend you have anything involving wages, tax or compliance reviewed by your accountant or adviser.

9. Your files and your privacy

  • Files are sent to us through a private upload link after payment. Please don't email them as attachments.
  • We return finished work on a private link that expires.
  • Your files are deleted from our active systems within 30 days of the job finishing. Copies sitting in routine backups are overwritten in the normal cycle after that.
  • We don't sell, share or hand your information to anyone else, other than the service providers we use to run the business.
  • Please don't send us tax file numbers or superannuation member numbers. Timesheet and payroll exports often contain them. Delete that column before you upload — we don't need it, and tax file numbers carry rules of their own on top of ordinary privacy law.
  • Never send us passwords, banking logins or full card numbers. We will never ask for them.

If your files contain other people's personal information — staff records, customer details — you remain responsible for having the right to share them with us.

The full detail is on our privacy page.

10. Who owns the finished work

Once you've paid, the finished file is yours to use, change and keep, for as long as you like. Your data, your wording and your logo are yours alone and are never reused for anyone else.

What stays ours is the plumbing underneath: the templates, formula structures and methods we use to build jobs of this kind. You get a permanent right to use them as part of your finished file, and we go on using the same building blocks for other customers. That's what keeps the price at $99 instead of $990.

We may describe the type of work in general terms as an example, but we will never show your figures, your customers or your business without asking you first.

11. The monthly reporting pack

The monthly pack renews each month until you cancel. Cancel any time before the next billing date and you won't be charged again. We don't refund part-months, but you'll receive the pack you've paid for.

To cancel: email help@helpmeai.com.au or ring 0410 481 185. One line is enough — you don't have to give a reason, and nobody will try to talk you out of it. We'll confirm in writing within one business day.

12. Cancelling a job

So neither of us has to argue about what's fair, the split is fixed:

  • Before we've started: full refund.
  • Started but not delivered: 50% refund.
  • Already delivered: section 7 applies instead — we correct it, or refund in full if we can't.

We process approved refunds within two business days. Your bank or card issuer usually takes a further 5–10 business days to show the credit — that part is out of our hands, but you'll have our confirmation the moment it's sent.

13. When we can say no

We may decline a job, or stop one we've started, if we can't do it properly or shouldn't do it at all — for example if the work turns out to be well outside the scope you paid for, if we don't have the right to work on the information involved, or if we're asked to do something unlawful.

If that happens you get a full refund of anything you've paid for work not delivered, and we'll tell you why plainly.

14. Our responsibility

We take care with your work, but we can't accept responsibility for business decisions you make based on it, or for losses arising from information you gave us that turned out to be wrong. Where we are responsible for something, our liability is limited to re-doing the work or refunding what you paid for that job.

Because every job we sell costs well under $100,000, you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law even though you are buying for a business. That means you have consumer guarantees we cannot take away. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, and where a guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited only to the extent the law allows.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you paid is the one that applies to your job.

If you're on the monthly reporting pack, we'll email you at least 14 days before any change takes effect, so you can cancel first if you'd rather not accept it.

16. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
